How did this idea come to me?
My inspiration came from meeting the wonderful, inspiring, beautiful Candice Deville- Super Kawaii Mama on Sunday.
What a woman. Candice came to Newcastle early on Sunday on the train with her hair in rollers, minimal makeup, laptop draped over her shoulder and her luggage gracefully trailing behind her.
There is a definite awe around Candice, the way she holds herself, the way she speaks, then she dons a pretty dress, and magic happens.
She makes it seem so effortless, the poses so natural.
Candice was here to do a photo shoot with our Hotrods to promote our business MisKonduct Klothing a Modern Vintage Boutique.
My partner Brook and I started this business in June 2010.
What a thrill it was to see these clothes come to life. As I explained in my about me. I am weight challenged, I don't get to try on these fabulous outfits. I have to coax my sister to model for me or wait till we do markets and fairs. It's there I get to see the lovely slim girls looking fabulous.
No more time to be depressed about it.
I am going become vivacious , and you can watch me do it.
I am going to take a photo of my self weekly and do a diary similar to Bridgette Jones.
Being honest about weight lost/ or gained, where I went wrong and my thoughts about the whole thing.
If I eat it, I have to Blog It, I'm accountable to the world!!!!
Next installment, the weigh in....Booooo!!

You have fabulous curves! An hourglass shape like yours will always look amazing in the style of clothes you're selling in your shop, regardless of size.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, good luck with what you're trying to achieve - at least you've got the fabulous shape to start with! I need to cinch myself right in with a corset and other sorts of underwear to achieve that hourglass look!
